This is yet another mural done by Sonny Davis. When Mr. Dumont, owner of the Commodore Hotel, found a picture of what the hotel looked like in 1946, he quickly decided to make the mural of it. Mr. Davis then painted the Stanley Hotel, what it was called back then, on the side wall of the Commodore. He used sepia type paint and brown colors to make it look like the antique photograph he was trying to recreate.

Katherine Fowler created the colorful piece of art located on the Main Street wall of VisionPerry headquarters. She and the art students used paint, wood, stone, glass, marble, and fabric glue to accomplish the piece. It has symbols of freedom such as a dove, stars, and different colors. The frame is separated to symbolize freedom by bursting out of the shell. They wanted the piece to be colorful, but the frame to have an antique look to it. It symbolized "something old, something new."

A little help with the machinery
Located at the corner of Main and Mill streets, Linden Corner is an art piece made to promote local businesses. It was created by Brittany Hayes, a Tennessee resident studying at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville. It portrays Lasting Impressions, Dimples, The Reflexology, and Kevin's locksmith solutions. It is not only an advertizing ad for those businesses, but it also expresses art in general to the county. People who are not from here will appreciate it and learn a little more about those businesses. It also adds color to the town
